.tyrconnel – single malt

40% abv, €25, single malt

Nose: sweet, fresh fruit, mint, raisins, apples, marshmallows, anice, liquorice, orange peel
Palate: gentle, sweet, fresh fruits, apples, pears, marshmallows, later she gets sharp, white pepper
Finish: medium long, fresh sour, slight bitter, white pepper, liquorice
Mark: +++/++

Conclusion: I like it, but… there is this slight bitter note that is bothering me. The sweet notes are a nice touch, and so is the freshness of this Irish single malt. For this price, it is something you can experiment and surprise your guess with.
